We will use this page to update the progress daily as we start the project. This will let everyone know Jon's itinerary, times and requirements.
We will also use this page to post relevant PDF's, Word docs,maps, Google Earth images etc. This project will only go ahead if we can fill the book, so your commitment is crucial to this. 'Robbie II' will continue the same theme, that is, operators around the world who use the R22 and R44 range of piston helicopters, plus the new R66 Turbine. Robbie was so popular and the price was just right, that we have had contact with many people who want to be in the next one. So it is now that time where Jon packs his camera and travels the globe in search of stunning images, coupled with interesting stories and anecdotes from all you Robbie drivers. But, it will be a slightly different format. We have been approached by many operators who wish to use the book as a sales and marketing tool, who wish for it to have more information about their services, history and activity. To this end they have pledged to purchase their slot in the book, thereby guaranteeing that their company will appear in this definitive volume. WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU We will take care of hotels, car hire etc, but we will need at least 3 hours of air time from you. This can be either as a two or more ship air-to-air component, or air-to-ground. In short whatever it takes to get us into a position where we can produce stunning images that will help sell you or your operation. So really it's up to you as to what you can offer. Our camera can only record the quality of what we point it at. INTERVIEWS As interviews are transcribed and edited, we will post them here so you can approve or ad to your stories. THE STORIES Bearing in mind this is a photographic based book, so the locations need to be pretty cool and offer Jon the ability to create some masterpieces with his trusty Nikon. We need operators who wish to participate from as many countries as possible, for instance; USA, Russia, UK (England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland), Germany, France, Italy, Canada, Croatia, Switzerland, N ew Zealand, Australia etc etc. So if you operate around some pretty cool geography, or have an interesting working environment (must be visually cool), then we need to hear from you NOW!
